[Aug 22] Thai Language Proficiency Test for Non-Native Speakers of Thai 2026

Test Information:

The Chulalongkorn University Language Proficiency Test of Thai as a Foreign Language, developed by the Sirindhorn Thai Language Institute at Chulalongkorn University, measures examinees' ability in three skills: Listening, Reading, and Writing. Each skill section takes approximately 50 minutes. Examinees may choose to take one, two, or all three skill sections. Test results are reported across five levels: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Superior and Distinguished.A national-level cooperation agreement has been signed among the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labour, and Chulalongkorn University to establish a national standard for Thai language proficiency testing. Test results can be used as a reference for further study or job applications at organizations requiring Thai language competency.
