The objective of the Arabic Minor programme is to provide students with a good command of the four different language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The objective of the French programme is to bring participants to a high level of proficiency in the language and to acquire a sound knowledge of French society and culture as well as of the French-speaking world.

The Italian programme provides students with the opportunity to acquire a high level of proficiency in the Italian language as well as comprehensive knowledge of Italian culture.

The German programme provides students with a comprehensive knowledge of both spoken and written German.  Students will be introduced to a wide range of aspects of contemporary German society and culture through the study of numerous multimedia materials and documents in the target language that will be included in the advanced courses in area studies, translation, linguistics and literature.
