Applications are invited for appointment as Advisor of German of Non-degree Programme, Secondary School Programme and Courses of General Public in the Division of Modern Languages, School of Modern Languages and Cultures effective from September 2020.
Applicants should possess a relevant Master’s degree with proven expertise in the teaching of standard German to non-native speaking learners plus at least 3 years’ experience in teaching standard German at all levels in tertiary education and fluency in English. They should also be familiar with recent trends in language teaching and assessment methods. The appointee is expected to contribute to the production of learning materials and design various procedures of assessment for the programme.
