Capstone arrangements for the Japanese Studies Major (Japan Studies Stream)
Please note that the capstone arrangements for the Japanese Studies Major (Japan Studies Stream) will be the following.
The expected way of fulfilling the capstone requirement for graduation in the Japan Studies Stream is either
1) JAPN4101. Japanese Studies research project: Capstone experience (6 credits), offered in both semesters 1 and 2 (taught by Dr. Izumi Nakayama)
OR
2) JAPN3082. Japanese Studies internship (6 credits)
PLEASE NOTE: No preparations for this course will be necessary, but it will be helpful for you to reflect on your preferred capstone (research paper) topic prior to taking this course.
