Korean II.1

Core course

This course builds on the work completed in the first year and consists of 4 hours of lectures and 2 hours of tutorials per week. It aims to develop students’ proficiency to an upper‑beginner level, with balanced emphasis on core language skills. More complex grammatical structures and an expanded range of vocabulary will be introduced to support students’ progress at this stage. Upon completion of the course, students will have mastered basic Korean grammar and vocabulary. They will also develop their communicative abilities across various topics and situations through role‑plays, short speeches, and discussions, and will be able to write essays in Korean.
