Dora de Almeida holds a B.A. in Modern Languages and Literatures from University of Coimbra, a Diploma in Education from Asia International Open University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics from University of Lisbon. She is interested in Portuguese linguistics, second language acquisition and the new cinema of Portugal and Brazil.
