Description

Core Course

In this lower-advanced French course, students will build upon skills developed in their first and second years to further expand their proficiency in the language. Interactive lectures encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independence, while a variety of texts stimulate critical reading and discussion. Audio-visual and web-based resources will deepen students’ understanding of French and francophone socio-cultural environments. Separate discussion groups will foster oral expression and debating skills. A dedicated module introduces AI-powered writing tools for French composition and revision. Students analyse their applications, ethical implications, and limitations while practising critical evaluation. Activities include hands-on exercises, comparative analysis of AI-generated vs. human texts, and discussions on AI’s role in language learning.
