I graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Master of Arts degree in Japanese Language and Teaching. Prior to joining the School of Modern Languages and Cultures, HKU, I had been teaching at the City University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and some institutions in Hong Kong. I was one of the founder members who established a Japanese Education related company in Hong Kong.

I research interest lies in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language and Voice and Tense in Japanese Grammar.
